Annual Wage Review decision by Fair Work Commission has resulted in a 1.75% wage increase.
Today, the Annual Wage Review panel handed down its decision to increase the national minimum wage by 1.75%.
This brings the national minimum wage to $753.90 per week ($19.84 per/hour) effective 1 July 2020.
Taking into account various economic considerations, the annual wage review panel determined different operative dates for different groups of modern awards, as follows:

Group 2 Awards 1 November 2020
Group 3 Awards 1 February 2021
The awards in each of these groups is set out below.
The Modern Award rates are yet to be published by the Fair Work Commission but rest assured as soon as they are made available we will notify all current Subscribers.
We urge all employers to check their payroll obligations to ensure that you are meeting the minimum wage obligations under the Fair Work Act 2009 and Modern Awards.
